• May 1, 1911 Shimo-Soga Signal Position (下曽我信号所) opened.
• April 17, 1922 Renamed to Shimo-Soga Signal Ground (下曽我信号場).
• May 15, 1922 It was upgraded and became Shimo-Soga Station. Started handling passengers and freight.
• August 21, 1962 Discontinued freight services.
• October 1, 1967 Re-started freight services.
• April 1, 1987 Along with privatization and division of JNR, Central Japan Railway Company and Japan Freight Railway Company started operating this station.
