Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirō (しましまとらのしまじろう?) is a Japanese anime show aimed at preschoolers. The series debuted on December 13, 1993. Shimajiro was formed in 1988, followed by Kodomo Charenji. It was featured on the E! "The Soup" segment.[citation needed]

Shimajiro's YouTube presence is only limited to about 5 videos. A Shimajiro toilet training video has recently become an Internet meme.[citation needed] Shimajiro's toilet training videos are seen by many to be unintentionally funny.
