Shibao (柴王 Shibaō?) is a manga by Tsubasa Nunoura. The manga tells short stories about the adventure of a young stray Akita dog, who the narrator called Shibao. In his adventure, Shibao met many people (and animals). The encounters often affect the people's (or the animal's) lives in such ways so that they would never forget the little dog. Tsubasa Nunoura was known for earlier work on Sentaro, another manga about animal (in this case a rabbit). The manga often takes the animal's unique point of view towards our world. Funny and sometimes touching are the two words suitable for Sentaro.
