Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Boston analytics. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Evil1987 13:38, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Boston analytics

I've nominated Boston analytics, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Boston analytics satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Boston analytics and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Boston analytics during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Evil1987 14:07, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Boston analytics

Well, because of our policies on neutral point of view it's usually difficult for someone closely associated with an organization to write a good article about that organization (see conflict of interest), especially without experience writing Wikipedia articles already. The sources you listed might be enough to write a neutral article, but it can't merely serve as a vanity page because Wikipedia is not a directory; you have to create an article following encyclopedic style and be prepared for other editors (including perhaps your competitors) to modify the page. If that's what you want, then you should start by reading Wikipedia:Your first article. Happy editing! — brighterorange (talk) 18:11, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
