The people who created Sheryn's wiki entry should get their facts right. She is said to possess an 8 octave chest range and 9 octave head, how are we supposed to believe that? Who the hell allowed this nonsense in a wikipedia?

I see this article as biased as it tries to manipulate people's mind that she's indeed the greatest singer of her generation, when in fact, she isn't that even popular in the Philippines compared to younger singers Sarah Geronimo and Rachelle Ann Go. Then again, other people would say that there are even better singers than Sarah Geronimo and Rachelle Ann Go...how would you take that? But I digress. This talk page is meant for discussing the article, not the subject of this article. Get on with it, will you? If you can't control yourself from talking about Sheryn (or for that matter, Sarah and Rachelle Ann and God knows who), find another website. No wonder you kept adding in "like younger teen stars Rachelle Ann Go and Sarah Geronimo." Come on! This is Sheryn's page, and maybe Sarah and Rachelle Ann are popular TO YOU, that doesn't mean everyone knows them, too. Don't make them a foil in terms of saying how Sheryn is second-rate. This article is intended to inform people who Sheryn is, where she came from, what titles she has been associated with, her accomplishments, and other pertinent information. This article is not intended to make you, or anyone else for that matter, feel that Sarah and Rachelle Ann are more popular. Besides, if you ask me, those two are nowhere in comparison to Sheryn's vocal prowess. And, no, you can't convince me that Sarah and Rachelle Ann are more popular. Try and figure that out. [edit] A very silly title!!!

The title "Modern Jukebox Queen" has been bestowed on Jessa Zaragosa, a fellow local singer in the Philippines in the late 1990s, thus it cannot be given to Sheryn easily as the title was never officially known to be hers. In fact, in the Philippines, almost not anyone knows that she is and the said title is kind of silly as there are no more jukeboxes around... very funny, indeed! I see this as a mere creation of one of her avid fans or let's just call more appropriately a gimmick, aimed to desperately push her singing career.

First, let's face it. Sheryn did release a CD of jukebox hits, revivals of songs that were released when jukeboxes are dime a dozen. And knowing how ABS-CBN markets its own talents, I wouldn't be surprised if the title "Modern Jukebox Queen" would come from someone in their marketing department. But I digress (again)...better find yourself another place to compare Sheryn with Jessa (or vice versa). Tito Pao, I believe people should just improve this article on Sheryn, once and for all! It's so stupid and totally absurd! I find it pure promotion of her recording materials so everyone finds it biased. And please stop creating titles for her as she's never formally proclaimed to be one. It's just making herself look like a desperate singer to be known in public. It only makes her appear cheap or better yet, she just have to improve her singing voice. We thought at first that she's a 10-year old girl singing. Don't be stupid. You know, I'm twice as irritated with you as you are with Sheryn. If you don't like her, just keep it to yourself. Wikipedia is not the right place to voice out stupid opinions. I do not care if you live in Chicago, the UK, or some place, but being totally foolish in Wikipedia is uncalled for. We don't need to know that you find Sheryn's voice sounding like Tuesday Vargas'. Unless you find a news article saying so, then go ahead.
I may agree with you regarding incorporating titles here in Wikipedia articles, but just so you know, this is Star Records idea and not her fans'. Don't sound as if you know EVERYTHING about Sheryn. In fact, you don't have any right to edit her article if you don't know her. Just because you see her on TV doesn't mean you know her. In the future, we will develop a more unbiased version of this article, do not worry, as long as you QUIT MESSING AROUND WITH THIS VERSION. I am tired of watching behind you and cleaning your crap. So so silly! I am a Filipino based here in Charlotte, North Carolina and most Pinoys here despise Sheryn as much as you despise the above guy you are harassing. Jeez!!! Why can't you just be so open about it and accept whatever criticisms people may have on your idol? This is one good way to directly address to her that she isn't getting better as a singer. Though I get your point, there's no way to be rude to anyone who basically is just voicing out his/her opinion about the squeaky voice Sheryn has. God! Let's be very civil, ok? Hey Markie, are you saying Sheryn has legions of fans here in the US? LOL! Well to straighten facts here, those thousands of Filipinos whom you claim watched Sheryn and screamed like crazy during the "Champions Tour" here in the U.S. are actually fans of Erik Santos, Sarah Geronimo, Rachelle Ann and Christian Bautista...not hers! Sheryn is absolutely NOT the reason why Filipinos here in the US watch the Champions Tour but the other 4 singers I mentioned. I watched one of their concerts so I should know. Do you think you're the only one who's seen her concerts here in the US? I've seen them too, and I'm not deaf to not recognize that people are cheering for her.

Ikaw ang EPAL, Marky! LOL! Imagine a guy who likes a singer who sounds much like Minnie Mouse screaming while being squished off? Hahaha!!! I dunno what got into you to like her and defend her like that to the point of calling people names here who just want to voice out what they feel about Sheryn's voice and style of singing (w/ matching kaway-kaway). Loosen up, ok?  ;-)

(resetting indent) To further resolve this unnecessary dispute, I have made massive edits on the article itself. You'll note that the new edit has deleted a lot of unnecessary and unencyclopedic information. I hope that this would resolve any disputes or disagreements about how this article should be written, and also would allow all of us to start rebuilding a more encyclopedic article. Just so that you may know, this isn't the only article about a Pinoy/Pinay singer that has received a nasty debate such as this one...they're all under my watch list. Besides, what's the point debating over a title that was simply given by the media and Sheryn's media handlers?

Any other edits should be written as neutral and as dispassionate as possible. [edit] Clean up and sourcing needed

I started by trying to use her last name as is customary. I also added a few cn tags and tried to copy edit so the article reads a tad bit more like an encyclopedia article and not a blog/fan site. Anyways, --Tom 00:06, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
