[edit] Merge proposal

I suggested this merge proposal as the Sherman Andrus article concentrates on his time in The Imperials, and I'm not sure that it warrants it's own article. If the articles were merged it would give time for the Sherman Andrus article to receive attention and possibly be spun out at a later date once it has been improved. --Deadly∀ssassin 20:08, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

  • I agree with the merge proposal, unless there is more on the subject unrelated to the Imperials. --Rocksanddirt (talk) 20:29, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

I intend to devote more time to the Andrus article in time to come but since his career spans such a long breadth of time (1964-present) in gospel music, I feel Andrus warrants his own space. He has been a member of 3 different groups (Andrae Crouch and the Disciples, The Imperials and Andrus, Blackwood and Company, all of which achieved distinction within contemporary Christian music as successful commercial entities, and records to this day. While I agree what is there for Andrus is too small, I think what really needs to happen is more attention given to his article on its own.GBrady (talk) 19:17, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

fair enough. --Rocksanddirt (talk) 21:52, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
