[edit] Knievel Attack

This article states, "Many Americans felt Knievel's actions were justified and Saltman was a fool to assume that he could write such provocative material about a man considered to be the greatest daredevil of the modern era without ramifications." Where does the author of this statement get his/her sources? I was a child at the time, but I can remember the public outrage over what he did. My parents vowed personally to never watch him perform again. His career took a major nosedive afterwards that he never recovered from. I did not hear one person at the time say that the attack was justified. This part should be removed if there is no outside source to corroborate this claim.
