[edit] Freshwater catfish is not a good title name

I propose changing this article title. "Freshwater catfish" doesn't make much sense. Nearly all catfishes are freshwater. Siluridae in particular is known as sheatfish. So, this article should be titled either Siluridae or sheatfish which is its common name (and the name used in Fishbase). --Melanochromis 14:30, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Done moving. This article is now titled "Sheatfish". "Freshwater catfish" is now redirected to catfish. --Melanochromis 15:36, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Not all Catfish are freshwater. Here in Florida, we have large numbers of both hardhead and gaffsail catfish, both of which are saltwater species. However, what I came here to discuss was the statement in the article that many catfish are "poisonous." Are they referring to the barbs? If so, then the correct term would be venomous. --DOHC Holiday 22:08, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
