Sherrod Malone (Sherry) Smith (February 18, 1891 - September 12, 1949) was a starting pitcher in Major League Baseball. From 1911 through 1927, he played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1911-12), Brooklyn Robins (1915-17, 1919-1922) and Cleveland Indians (1922-1927). Smith batted right handed and threw left handed. He was born in Monticello, Georgia.
In a 14-season career, Smith posted a 114-118 record with 428 strikeouts and a 3.32 ERA in 2052.2 innings pitched.
Smith died in Reidsville, Georgia, at age 58.
