Sherpur Sadar (Bengali: শেরপুর সদর) is an Upazila of Sherpur District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Sherpur Sadar is located at . It has 80091 units of house hold and total area 360.01 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Sherpur Sadar has a population of 381,419. Males constitute are 51.58% of the population, and females 48.42%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 189,019. Sherpur Sadar has an average literacy rate of 19.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
Sherpur Sadar is also famous for its rice mill.
