Sherman Kaplan is an immigration attorney practicing in Newport Beach, California. His practice focuses primarily with the entertainment industry. He has over 25 years experience and has exclusively practiced immigration law throughout his career. Mr. Kaplan is an A-V rated attorney, the highest rating available.

Mr. Kaplan graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1977 with a B.A. degree. He then pursued his law degree at Southwestern University School of Law (J.D., 1980).

Mr. Kaplan was admitted to the California Bar in 1980. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the Orange County Bar Association (Immigration Section), the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Immigration Section) and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Within the entertainment industry, Mr. Kaplan serves several premier studios and talent agencies. He represents a wide-range of individuals involved in the entertainment field, including actors, directors, producers, musicians, production designers, hair stylists and make-up artists.
