Sheraton Park is a new luxury development of houses on the site of a former teacher training college at Nevilles Cross, Durham City
The development of the site is a combination of Barratt and Bett houses. Banks has submitted planning permission for a 3 storey office block on the site which has raised local concerns.
The development consists of a mix of modern townhouses, varying from 3 to 5 bedrooms in size. The houses are styled in manner sympathetic to more traditional houses in the area, using a mix of brick and render to create a more interesting contrast between adjoining houses.
Sheraton Park has little in the way of local amenities, though there is a local pub, frequented by residents of Sheraton Park and other surrounding housing estates, which is named after The Duke of Wellington
