Sheppard Rocks

Sheppard Rocks (75°37′S, 158°38′E) is a group of rocks lying 4 miles (6 km) northwest of Ricker Hills, in the Prince Albert Mountains, Victoria Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1956-62. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Paul D. Sheppard, storekeeper with the South Pole Station winter party in 1966.
