Sheffield rocksoc

This is a long-running student-run society for rock/alternative music-loving students of the University of Sheffield, but is open to non-students too. They are one of the larger social societies at the University,[1] and are generally very active during term-time; organising one or two socials a week for its members.[2] Membership benefits gained include discounts at various places in Sheffield,[3] and reduced/free entry to RockSoc-organised events (such as gigs and club nights).[4], and they offer a musician's directory[5], allowing local musicians to find others to form bands/jam with.
