                                                         Biography

Shawna Stoltenberg specializes in corporate leadership and development consulting having most recently worked for Allianz Life of North America, Target Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. She has more than 10 years of experience as a corporate trainer, facilitator, performance coach and former television news anchor.


Shawna is also a speaker, trainer and former board member for the Jacob Wetterling Foundation (http://www.jwf.org/), a missing children's organization in Minnesota that works nationally to end the sexual exploitation and abduction of children. She has delivered presentations to more than 10,000 students, parents and community organizations on how to keep children safe.


In 1993, Shawna held the title of Miss Minnesota (http://www.missminnesota.org/Formers.htm) and won a talent award at the Miss America Pageant (http://www.missamerica.org/). Through her winnings, she was able to graduate from college debt free. She was also the first contestant (http://education.umn.edu/alum/link/2005Spring/Alum-Stoltenberg.html) in the history of the pageant to address the issue of missing children and to share Jacob’s story of HOPE (http://www.nsor.net/jacob-wetterling.htm).


Shawna has studied piano for more than 20 years. She’s a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison with Bachelor degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Piano Performance. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities in Human Resource and Organizational Development. In 2000, she married husband & photographer, Bjorn (http://www.bjornmeisnerphotography.com/), from Oldenburg, Germany.
