Shane Kenyon

Shane Kenyon is a software development professional living and working in the Rochester, New York area. Shane consults for several companies and organizations including Quality Review Concepts (Hauppauge, N.Y.) and the New York Wine & Grape Foundation (Canandaigua, N.Y.).

Previously he worked as Enterprise Architect with Hobart and William Smith Colleges (May, 2003 - July 2007), in the IT Services department. His role entails responsibility for administrative systems, the HWS Web site and overall systems software architecture and planning.

Before working at HWS, Shane was the owner of Riverwalk Communications Corp. (Geneva, N.Y.) a Web development company, and later served as vice president of strategic technology at E-Base Interactive, Inc. (Binghamton, N.Y.).

Shane attended Hobart College in 1996 in preparation for graduate studies at RIT in software project management. He received his B.A. with double-majors in geography and political science from the University of Texas, San Antonio in 1993.

Shane has two children and is married. Public service includes vestry at St. Peter's Episcopal Church as well as lay councilman on the Diocesan Council in Rochester, and the boards of the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Geneva Technology Council, and Geneva Community Projects.
