Guardian of Terra is a role-playing game being made with RPG Maker 2003 by me. I am not too sure when the game will be finished but it may be a while. I work on it every now and then. I recently changed the title to "Guardian of Terra" but the series still remains "Terra". Guardian of Terra can also be nicknamed "GoT".

[edit] Storyline (so far)

10 years ago on the Planet Terra from the Tear Galaxy, a huge war occured. A man named Yuan Usaki was a soldier in this war. The War was between the Terrans (the race on Terra) and the soldiers of BOLTON (who is really identified as Xeroshin). How the war temporarily ended was after BOLTON kidnapped Yuan for an unknown reason and head off back to his hideout in the center of the planet. 10 years later, Yuan's son Jin head off to seek revenge and get his father back....if he isn't already dead. People still feared that there might be another war between the Terrans and BOLTON. Jin learnt that he had to gather the Five Elemental Crystals to enter BOLTON's hideout and rescue Yuan. Jin is accompanied by several allies to stop the Warlock. After the crystals were recovered and the allies confronted the warlock still known as BOLTON. The heroes defeat BOLTON, but after a short celebration, a spirit escapes from the warlock's body known as 'Xeroshin'. Xeroshin served the Dark Lord 2000 years ago in Legend of Terra. Due to the lack of power to kill the heroes, Xeroshin flees into the underworld; an undiscovered world which lies precisely under the overworld of Terra.

This section covers the characters I will possibly put in Terra.

[edit] Jin Usaki

Sixteen year old Jin Usaki is the main protagonist. After being told about the loss of his father ten years ago, Jin seeks to destroy the kidnapper. He is then told that he has to recover the five elemental crystals of the overworld to get into the palace of the kidnapper and defeat him once and for all. Jin will be a playable character.

During Jin's quest to gather the crystals, he bumps into a fifteen year old beginning mage just before entering the Earth Shrine. Laura tags along, hoping she can learn some new skills on this adventure. Laura will be a playable character.

[edit] Marco

Marco, a twenty three year old pirate lost his mother when he was a little boy. He seeks revenge on the murderer. He joins Jin, hoping he find the killer. He lends the heroes his ship which is used a lot during the start of the game. Marco will be a playable character.

[edit] BOLTON/Xeroshin

During the beginning of Guardian of Terra, BOLTON turns Yuan into crystal after splitting the Master Crystal into five parts. For a decade, rumour had it that BOLTON killed Yuan and this caused Jin to seek revenge. When the heroes entered the Tower on the centre continent, BOLTON was defeated. But this was not the end. BOLTON was just a body created by Xeroshin who flees into the underworld and hides to gather power. Xeroshin is the main antagonist of Guardian of Terra. He is over 3000 years old and was a servant of the Dark Lord in Legend of Terra. When Xeroshin was defeated in Legend of Terra, he was presumed dead. 2000 years later (the GoT events), he uses a body known as 'BOLTON' to hide his identification.

Yuan is Jin's father. He fought in the BOLTON war and got kidnapped by BOLTON himself. It isn't revealed if he is dead of alive until Jin and his allies reach BOLTON's Tower.

This section covers the tentative worlds that may be put in GoT.

[edit] Overworld

The outer area of the planet. The overworld contains six continents, plus several extra little islands.

The crust deep within the planet which is unknown to the Terrans. A race named the Lavans are said to live there.

After X wrecks the overworld, this world will be the remains.

So far, I've been thinking about a trilogy for Guardian of Terra. I'm also considering a spin-off.

[edit] Legend of Terra

Legend of Terra is chronologically the first in the Terra series. Although it is set in the same universe as GoT, it is set 2000 years before the events of GoT. The shape of the continents on the planet's overworld will differ from those of GoT's, and the underworld wouldn't have been discovered. I have yet to think of the main plot in this installment.

Chronologically the second, but the first in release order. This is the time when Xeroshin tries to end Terra, and maybe even the entire universe.

Might take place a few milleniums after Guardian of Terra. Will most likely be a Sci-Fi story with futuristic Star Wars like scenery. Stars of Terra is a tentative title at this stage.
