Promo Girl isn't really a continuity annoucer. She's exactly what she says she is - a recurring voice for doing promos. DJ Clayworth 20:04, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
The much talked-about Promo Girl will no longer be used to promote programs on CBC Radio. Shauna MacDonald had been the voice of the English-service radio network for a couple of years now. The Globe and Mail called her voice “incredibly sexy.”
The new Promo Guy is Jeremy Harris, and he’ll be heard on both Radio One and Radio Two. Er, Radio 2. If his voice sounds familiar, it probably means you’re in Toronto; Harris was the voice of the Toronto 1 TV station.
