[edit] Proposed merge

The only comment I would make on the proposed merge, is that share capital includes both issued share capital and unissued share capital (and also treasury shares). I think the topics (other than treasury shares, which already have their own article) are short enough that they can all squeeze into one article (which should logically be headed share capital, and just have sub-headings) but the two subjects are not the same thing. This could probably be a triple-merge and also bring in the equally stub-like article on outstanding stock, which is just the American term for issued share capital. Legis 13:47, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
