The first bullet (dictionary definition) should be deleted. The second definition (re games) should probably be in its own article, as this is a disambig page.

Another comment: "Shard" also means "low lying" in the north west of England. There is also the Shard, a river in that area. It reputedly has a similar meaning in the Scots language, but, more normally in Scotland, it commonly means cow dung.
