I'd do it myself but frankly I'm not sure what this article is trying to say in the first place. It doesn't strike me as worthy of deletion, as there does seem to be content there. --Deville (Talk) 04:13, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Apart from the semi-mythical bird (it seems to be based on an actual animal, but I have not tried to see whether it's possible to tie it down to an actual species) which apparently was in ancient times trained for carrying messages, it's also a not uncommon name in Iran and Pakistan and it was the name of the last Shah's personal jetliner: [1].
