This article is inconsistent with another article on www.wikipedia.org- The 'List of Persian given names' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persian_names) which lists the name 'Shahab' as being spelt 'Shahaab'. The article does not list 'Shahab' as an additional name to 'Shahaab' so I therefore assume it is meant to say 'Shahab' and is simply a spelling error. My name is Shahab and I have never known it to be spelt with three As.

Also, as I understand it, Shahab translates more accurately as 'comet' as opposed to 'meteor'. I suppose that's debatable though.
