Shawn Tompkins was a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He was the coach for the Los Angeles Anacondas of the International Fight League.

Shawn has taught such notable fighters as Sam Stout, Chris Horodecki, and Mark Hominick. He has also fought himself in UCC; a Canadian MMA organization now known as TKO Major League MMA. He owns a professional record of 0-4. He officially took the reins from Bas Rutten as the Los Angeles Anacondas head coach on March 17, 2007, just before their matchup against the San Jose Razorclaws.
