Shashank M. Kashi is a 9 year old boy is a folk dancer of 'Yakshagana'.
He has got the 'Pogo Amazing Kid Dancer' (National Award) for the year 2005[1]. He is the youngest child Yakshagana artist to get a National Award.
He has also got the 'Kala Aparangi' (state award) for the year 2006-07 and 'Aryabhata' (state award) for the year 2005.
