Sharon Patricia Maughan (born 22 June 1950) is a British television actress. Her most recent regular role was as Nurse Tricia Williams in the BBC television medical drama series Holby City from 2003 until 2006.[1]

Prior to her casting in this series she was most famous in the UK for a seven-year stint from 1990 to 1997 in the popular television advertisements for Nescafé Gold Blend instant coffee (Taster's Choice in the United States), alongside the actor Anthony Stewart Head. Maughan married fellow actor Trevor Eve in 1980 and they have three children together, including actress Alice Eve.

Maughan was born in Kirkby near Liverpool. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art when she was 18 years old and went on to act in several television series, including The Enigma Files and The Flame Trees of Thika. She has worked in theatre, television and film, including Inspector Morse, A Doll's House, Arcadia and Another Stakeout.
