Shaoxing County (simplified Chinese: 绍兴; traditional Chinese: 紹興; pinyin: Shàoxīng; Wade-Giles: Shao-hsing) is a county in northeastern Zhejiang province, People's Republic of China.

Shaoxing County has an area of 1,177 square kilometers.

Shaoxing County contains 302 administrative villages, 70 neighborhood committees (community), and has a registered population of 705,000, and a non-registered population of 300,000.

Shaoxing County has experienced rapid economic and social development, and repeatedly entered the top ten counties. The county's GDP reached 39 billion yuan with an average annual growth rate of 14.7 percent, per capita GDP reached 6,850 U.S. dollars; financial revenues reached 4.232 billion yuan, of which the local financial revenue 2.013 billion yuan, respectively, the average annual increase of 24.8% and 25.1%, total fixed asset investment of 17.55 billion yuan, an average annual increase of 31.0 percent, of which 12.01 billion yuan of industrial inputs, the average annual growth of 33.1 percent; urban residents per capita disposable income 18,128 Yuan, the per capita net income of farmers 9,241 yuan, respectively, the average annual growth of 14.7 percent and 10.9 percent.
