Shakhbut Bin Sultan Al Nahyan

Shakhbut Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (1905–February 11, 1989) was the eldest son of Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi from 1922 to 1926. Shakhbut was the ruler of the emirate of Abu Dhabi until August 6, 1966 when he was deposed in a bloodless coup.
His brother Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan became the emir of Abu Dhabi, and eventually rose to become the undisputed leader of the United Arab Emirates.
