Shah Satnam Ji Green-S Welfare Force – Shah Satnam Ji Green-S Welfare Force wing is a made up of 26,000 volunteers. It was formed by Dera Head, Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji, in 2000. They claim the motive of this welfare force is to help the victims during any natural calamity. Since its inception, among major relief operations performed by Shah Satnam Ji Green-S Welfare Force, are to provide relief to flood ravaged Bihar [1] , sending a special goods train to Orrisa during Cyclone [2] when earthquake hit Gujrat in Dec. 2000, a scientific survey and a systematic aid operation followed. In 42 villages, ration depots were setup; thousands of tents were erected, and over 1 lac blankets distributed. Sources said the force volunteers reconstructed one whole village named Pratapgarh.
