SHAZAM (interbank network)

SHAZAM is an interbank network providing electronic funds transfer services to more than 1600 financial institutions in 29 US states, primarily in the midwestern United States. The company was founded in 1976 by a group of independent financial institutions, and remains a member-owned and controlled organization which seeks to partner with financial instututions and ensure equal access to electronic services for large and small members.
