[edit] Significance of Maroon

Can someone tell me what significance if any is given to the color maroon?

Given by whom? Well it is one of the colours of the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. Sorry that I don't have more of an answer but why not ask at Talk:Maroon (color)? Jimp 01:51, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Think of the times, the number of times that you can make rhymes with that friend, maroon! There's the month of June (maroon!); there's a singer's croon (maroon!) as she sings a tune (maroon!) to an orange moon (maroon!) like a crazy loon (maroon!)... What, that's not enough? --Oolong 16:39, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Moving to Variations/Varieties of ...

It has been suggested that Category:Shades of organge be moved to either Category:Variations of organge or Category:Varieties of organge. Where this move to go through all Shades of ... categories and their associated templates should also be moved. The discussion is here. Jimp 01:51, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
