[edit] Origin

Anyone got any sorces about this digraph's origin (as a representation of /S/)? I think it attempts to be some sort of an average of /s/ + /x/ — also CF German <sch>! — but I could be mistaken. --Tropylium 19:08, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Old English used sc instead. The h could be due to Norman influence. But I don't really know... FilipeS 18:01, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
P.S. Read Sch (trigraph). FilipeS 23:08, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
