Shōwa Station (昭和駅 Shōwa-eki?) is a railway station on the Tsurumi Line in Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The station is operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

The station opened as a station of Tsurumi Rinkō Railway, a predecessor operator of the Tsurumi Line, on March 20, 1931. Tsurumi Rinkō Railway was integrated into the Japanese National Railways on July 1, 1943.[1]

The station name Shōwa is a Japanese era name (see Shōwa period) and 1931 was its sixth year. However, it is said that the station was not directly named after the era name, but was named Shōwa because it was adjacent to a factory of Showa Fertilizer Company (present-day Showa Denko).[2] The Showa Denko factory still exists next to the station.

The unstaffed station has one side platform that serves trains of both directions.
