Note: this seems actually to be the Sterling Highway, as viewed when traveling westwards to Soldotna/Kenai from Cooper Landing as one leaves the Kenai Mountains. A query has been posted at Flickr to ask the original photographer, who was a visitor to Alaska and may not be as familiar with the roads.
