where did you find out that those are the coordinates of severnaya in the movie Goldeneye

I find the renaming doubtful. None of the royal family members are commonly called 'saints' and the links redirect to completely different people. The paragraph seemed POV to begin with (Bolshevism?) Zazaban (talk) 06:46, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

I agree that beginning with "Bolshevik" seems POV. Regarding the names, formerly people were given names after saints. The islands were named after the saints which gave origin to the names after which the Russian Queens an Princesses were named. This doesn't mean that the deceased royal family members are saints themselves. That is why they redirect to different people.Mohonu (talk) 09:50, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Zazaban, it is true that there is a request to rename certain islands in Severnaya Zemlya. Links in English are hard to come by. But there are many in Russian. The last motion was rejected. But the question may be be raised again and again in the future.
