Academy Award nominee Will Smith stars in the emotional story of a man who will change the lives of seven strangers. Will Smith portrays an IRS agent who is distraught with guilt from the mistakes of his past. As a solution, he plans to commit suicide, but also decides to help seven struggling individuals. When he meets Emily (Rosario Dawson), a woman with a heart condition, he falls in love with her, thereby complicating his original plans of suicide.
