Imperial Russian battleship Sevastopol, built 1911. Renamed Parizhskaya Kommuna March 31, 1921. Fought in World War II in the Black Sea as a floating battery in support of Soviet land forces fighting Nazi invasion. Renamed Sevastopol May 31, 1943. Scrapped 1957.

Ship appears to be flying the Russian Naval Jack and fortress flag which was in use until 1917. Flag detail is obscured on photo. The ship's bow is the earlier vertical version prior to overhaul in 1925 at which time it was given a flared-forward prow.
