S&L is written by Lucas Mader who is gay. It is about two children who discover that they have magical powers. Lucas is a warlock who can do anything he wants. Seth can fly and is very strong.

S&L is published by Holiday Books.

S&L started in 2006 and is now published weekly. It is drawn in black and white and costs 25 cents.

Seth and Lucas' best friend Eric, a hockey pro, is mentioned frequently. Kyle, a basketball fanatic, dreams to be a pro some day. Other characters include Annie, Seth's girlfriend; Maggie, Lucas' girlfriend; and Judy, often sees Lucas and Seth using their powers. Lucas then makes her forget what she saw. Seth has four brothers and sisters: Rebbeca, Cal, Lizzy, and Andy. Lucas's has a brother named Joe.
