I am Alvaro A. Cardenas, a Ph.D. student at the university of Maryland. It seems wikipedia is full of possibilities for introductions and tutorials. I will take some time to see the level of current articles and if I have time add a couple of tutorials.

So far I have only contributed a reference to the article on the Maximum Entropy Principle. More serious work will be attempted in the future ;)
