[edit] William Wilberforce
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page William Wilberforce do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. →Ollie (talk • contribs) 13:39, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Yep, its always a good idea to give a reference when you add information to Wikipedia. You can read up on how to do so at WP:CITE. Also, I'm not sure what you mean about Laurence Street, everything looks OK there to me. →Ollie (talk • contribs) 14:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello again. I'm afraid I don't know what Gimbold is up to, and I can't find any examples of it in his contribution list. Perhaps you could ask him? I can't answer for Gimbold, but he/she might not realise that the link is meant to be a reference and delete it, thinking it to be spam. Make sure you add the reference as described in WP:CITE. Either way, the best course of action is to ask Gimbold, I am sure that you will get an explanation! →Ollie (talk • contribs) 19:03, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:E F Knight.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:E F Knight.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 21:59, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Cavendish
Hi, I have no info about the extra kids. I just saw one anonymous edit that gave no summary for the edit - and hence looked dodgy - so I reverted it. If there's someone playing around then I'm sorry if I helped them, it was accidental. Malick78 (talk) 19:31, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
