[edit] Notability
This article was marked for notability problems on 11 October 2007. No edits showing notability were made and the article was prodded on 9 January 2008. On 10 January 2008, Phil Bridger removed the prod and said, "seems that he played in Segunda División B last season which satisfies WP:BIO." As a non-footballer, I have no clue why or how that satisfies the requirements of WP:BIO. Is Segunda División B a fully professional league? (It is not clear from the Segunda División B article. What is clear is that it is third tier.) If not, is it the highest level in amateur sports? Has there been any in depth coverage ("published secondary source material which is reliable, intellectually independent, and independent of the subject") of Sergio Villanueva Fernández aside from coverage of the team? If so, could you please place the appropriate information that shows such notability in the lead paragraph, IAW the guidelines of the Manual of Style? "The lead should be capable of standing alone as a concise overview of the article, establishing context, summarizing the most important points, explaining why the subject is interesting or notable." from Wikipedia:Lead section. --Bejnar (talk) 15:44, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
