Sergei Ignatiev

Sergei Mikhailovich Ignatiev (in Russian: Сергей Михайлович Игнатьев, b. January 10, 1948, in Leningrad, Soviet Union) is a Russian economist, banker and official.
From September 13, 1996, to April 5, 1997 he was an aide to President Boris Yeltsin for economy. In April 1997 – March 2002 he worked as a First Deputy Finance Minister of Russia.
Since March 20, 2002 he has been the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
