Serbia and Montenegro European Integration Office

The Serbia and Montenegro European Integration Office was the main institution in Serbia and Montenegro in charge of the association of the country to the European Union. Its main tasks were:
- • To coordinate and follow-up activities on the basis of recommendations from the European Commission, which are presented in annual SAP reports and in the European Partnership, in order to facilitate in harmonization of policies and laws in line with the EU acquis
- • To coordinate and manage the translation of the acquis communautaire
- • To undertake capacity building activities in relevant institutions dealing with SAP issues
- • To raise further awareness of the EU integration process
