Ruth Rendely is a channeler in the manner of J. Z. Knight. She channels a Seraphim who gives her specific healing power that she teaches to others. Her work is interesting because it may make an original contribution to the field of Consciousness Studies in her understanding of the nature of psychic ability and in her comparison between physics and "the angelic land." She quotes from the work of the physicists Albert Einstein, Werner Heisenberg, and John Hagelin. She also makes use of the work of the British mathematician G. Spencer Brown and the work of the visionary poet William Blake.
