Sennybridge

Sennybridge (Welsh: Pont Senni) is a village in Powys, Mid Wales, about 40 miles from Cardiff and Swansea.

It is located about 8 miles west of Brecon on the A40 trunk road to Llandovery.
Its Welsh language name translates to the bridge over the River Senni.
One of the factors which influenced the growth of this village was the establishment of the Neath and Brecon Railway in 1872.
It is the home village of X Factor 4 runner up Rhydian Roberts.
Sennybridge and surrounding Areas is also used by the Ministry of Defence for training. Its Main Base is based in Sennybridge.
