The Senior NCO of Allied Command Operations (SNCO ACO) is responsible for enlisted force professional development and standardization policies such as can be achieved among those Alliance members, Partners, and Aspirants interested and willing to voluntarily capitalize on enlisted force initiatives.
These initiatives include the functional areas of leadership, performance, training, education, appearance and conduct of enlisted personnel.
Sergeant Major Alford McMichael was the first to assumed this newly created position on 24 September 2003.
