Senftenberg, sorbian Zły Komorow, is a town in southern Brandenburg, Germany, capital of the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district. It is situated on the river Schwarze Elster, approx. 20 km northwest of Hoyerswerda, and 35 km southwest of Cottbus.
