- Diane Sawyer - Good Morning America anchor. Graduated 1963.
- Wes Unseld - NBA hall of famer. First person to be NBA MVP and rookie of the year in the same year. Currently executive with Washington Wizards. Graduated 1964.
- Mike Redd - all American high school basketball player, first United States Marine to play on the Armed Forces All Star Team. Graduated 1963.
- Sherrill Redmon - Director of Women's Studies at Smith College. First wife of Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell. Graduated 1961.
- Jerry Abramson - Louisville, Kentucky mayor. Graduated 1964.
- Linda Sawyer - former Miss Kentucky. Graduated 1961.
- Steve Imhoff- class of 1966, Louisville attorney, University of Kentucky, 1970-varsity tennis and University of Tennessee School of Law 1973. Elected school board member in 2000.
