"Send the Pain Below" is the second single off the album Wonder What's Next from hard rock band Chevelle. The single is considered their most successful and hit #1 on both the Modern Rock Tracks and the Mainstream Rock Tracks. Lyrically, "Send the Pain Below" appears to describe a relationship where one person suppresses and hurts the other. It is told through the receiver's perspective.
The song's music video revolves around a snowboarder and his difficulties in striving for excellent performance. The band is seen playing the song in a dark room, their breath creating fog in the cold air.
