The Senate House in Kingston, New York, USA is where the New York State Senate first met after the United States Declaration of Independence. After a month, the Senate fled the British troops who were advancing from Manhattan. The Senate house and much of Kingston was burned in retribution. It has served as a museum from the late 1800's.
