Senaithalaivar

Senaithalaivar are Tamil speaking people mainly from south Tamilnadu. They believe that they are descendants of VeeraBahu, the great warrior who served lord Muruga (compare this with Sengunthar). They are mainly populated in Tirunelveli district including places like Tenkasi, Surandai, Sethur, Sivagiri and Rajapalayam. A considerable number of people also live in Bodinayakkanur, known as the cardamom city.
